Introducing....Winston's Wish

For the final part of our spotlight on the three charities the PW7 Foundation are dedicated to support we focus on Winston's Wish, a charity very special to the hearts of Peter's family following his passing.

Winston's Wish is a charity which supports bereaved children, young people, their families and the professionals who support them during the periods of immense sorrow and pain of losing a loved one.

They seek to provide support across as many channels as possible to reach those in need through the methods of communication the individual wants to engage with. This includes; a freephone helpline, an email service, school support, training days for support professionals, publications & resources and additional specialist bereavement support services for those in need.

The charity puts in place a support structure that both provides that immediate help in dealing with the grief of bereavement but also develops the skills of professionals around those young people in order to help them on their longer journey through dealing with the death of a loved one.

For thirty years Winston's Wish has been a source of hope for countless families during their darkest hours and it is our honour to help support them for countless more future generations.
